Elizabeth has over 20 years of cooking experience. Nigerian and West African food has been the focus that whole time.
Not a home setup. Elizabeth works out of a commercial kitchen and runs catering, delivery, pickup and online orders from it.
Nigerian jollof rice is what people come looking for. Her seafood dishes, seafood okra especially, are her strongest sellers and the reason customers reorder.
Elizabeth expected to cook mainly for the African community here. In practice, a large share of her repeat customers are Canadian, Indian and Asian.
Offered the option of a generic healthy-meal line, she kept West African cuisine as the core of the business instead.
Nigerian food lives or dies on the base: the pepper mix, the crayfish, the palm oil and the time you give it. Elizabeth builds hers from scratch, which is why her jollof tastes like jollof and her okra tastes like okra.
Lizziano Kitchen exists because Elizabeth wanted Vancouver to get the real thing, cooked by hand and seasoned properly, the same way she cooks for her own family in Nigeria.
No shortcuts and no fillers. The pepper base is blended fresh, the stews are cooked down properly, and every meal is made from scratch using traditional Nigerian technique.
Every meal is a full 28 oz: a proper serving of jollof or white rice, a real portion of protein, and enough stew to cover it. Nobody is going back to the pot after this.

This is exactly the kind of meal-prep setup that makes busy weeks easier. The portions look practical, the containers are packed neatly, and there’s enough variety to keep several meals interesting. Having everything portioned and ready to go is a big plus.
The rice looks really flavorful and well seasoned, and the grilled meat has a nice browned finish. The vegetables and corn make the whole plate feel complete rather than just being a heavy rice-and-meat meal. This is the kind of hearty comfort-food combination that looks especially satisfying.

Turkey is well seasoned and the fried rice actually has that mixed vegetable depth to it, not just plain rice with peas thrown in.
